The first is an orally active, non-steroidal compound that is designed to interact with the androgen receptor. In preclinical and clinical studies, it has been shown to have anabolic effects on both muscle and bone tissue, making it a research interest for conditions such as osteoporosis, sarcopenia, and cancer cachexia. In mouse models, it has been shown to enhance lean body mass and muscle strength without affecting the prostate, setting it apart from traditional anabolic therapies.

The second is a potent alpha-2 adrenergic antagonist. In scientific studies, it has shown promise for a variety of uses, primarily in promoting fat loss as well as enhancing sexual performance. Preclinical studies using rodent models have demonstrated that it can stimulate fat loss by blocking alpha-2

adrenergic receptors in fat cells, increasing the mobilization of fatty acids for energy production. Additionally, studies in rats have shown that it can enhance sexual behavior, and this effect has been hypothesized to extend to humans as well.
